I always said if there were a sequel to Breakfast at Tiffany's, we'd find Holly Golightly sporting a hat on her wedding day. Since HG is really that zanier side of Audrey Hepburn that surfaced in the 1960s, she set the trend for le chapeau as an item of chic rather than a required accessory. So brides of today are following her lead, wearing a hat to clinch a whole bridal look while expressing a little panache . .Silk and tulle fascinator and cabbage rose picture hat available through Amy-Jo Tatum Bridal under Head Chic.

Thought I'd leave you with this medley of baubles to inspire you along over the weekend and get you thinking bridal jewelry. Found on SMP, these tones and textures could work with a wedding ensemble and be worn and loved (oh the sentiment!) long after the big day . . .

PREVIEW OF COMING ATTRACTIONS
What do you get when you mix two dynamic photographers with two incredibly gorgeous models, one genius hairstylist and an innovative makeup artist? One awesome bridal editorial. The 2010 Spring/Summer collection was photographed last weekend at Marin County, California landmark, St. Vincent's. Chock-a-block with magnificent pastoral and bay veiws, St. Viincent's is the perfect backdrop for the lace and satins featured in this year's designs. These point and shoot shots by Yours Truly don't hold a candle to the work you'll be seeing soon from John Truong and Stuart Lirette, two Bay Area photographers specializing in the art of merging their talents in fashion and wedding photography.
An actual 1960's vintage gown mixed with Kathie Rothkop of Salon Glam's retro hair design. Close up shots will be featured in a couple weeks when you'll be able to see the work of Bay Area makeup artist Juliane Chai who really know how to glam up brides on their wedding day . . .
Really can't wait to post the rest of these images of Lauren and Jen. It's going to be a reall treat . . .
